The Zetter Group

The Zetter Group has a habit of finding the most characterful corners of London and doing something rather wonderful with them. Their newest outpost drapes across six Georgian townhouses just moments from the British Museum, and if you know the Zetter's vibe, you'll know exactly what to expect: incredibly comfortable rooms designed with real taste and oozing with character, four-poster beds, stunning vintage lighting, antique finds and rich textiles in the kind of emerald and russet shades that make you want to stay inside regardless of the weather.

There's a gorgeous tranquil garden, a parlour and terrace made for long, leisurely cocktails, and a gym for anyone with more willpower than us. It's now open, and it's already on our list.
